The project “Provision of services for the update of scenarios assessment for the biogas utilization plant of the sanitary landfill in Larissa Prefecture”, was implemented for the Municipal Enterprise for Water Supply and Sewerage of Larissa

EPEM Engineering was responsible for the preparation of the Feasibility Study for the utilization of the biogas generated in the landfill of Larissa Regional Unit. The Feasibility Study assessed the current situation and examined alternative options for the development and financing of the landfill biogas collection and utilization for production of electricity. It also proposed a financing scheme ensuring the sustainability of the proposed investments and maximization of the revenues for the Municipal Enterprise.
