Integrated Waste Management System in the East and Northeast Regions, N. Macedonia

The project “Preparation of project studies (FSs, EIAs, CBAs), design and tender documentation for establishing an integrated and financially self-sustainable waste management system in the east and northeast regions" (EuropeAid/136070/IH/ SER/MK) was implemented for the Ministry of Finance of North Macedonia and was funded by the EU Delegation of North Macedonia.

The project proposed investments, to be funded by EU Funds, aiming to improve the living conditions of the population, and develop an integrated and financially self-sustainable waste management system in East and Northeast Regions of North Macedonia. The investments proposed, comprised measures to construct 1 new Central waste management facility (landfill, MBT plant, sorting plant and composting plant) and 6 Local Waste management facilities (Transfer station and composting plant). For the proposed investments, EPEM Engineering undertook the elaboration of the Feasibility Study, Financing Application, Preliminary & Detailed designs and tender documents (RED & Yellow FIDIC), with cost estimates
